Financial Staff Accountant - Las Vegas, NV
**Wyndham Vacation Ownership** is seeking a **Financial Staff Accountant** to join our Club Accounting team in Las Vegas.


This position is responsible for the timely compilation of financial
information leading to the accurate preparation of the financial statements,
related monthly analysis and annual budgeting for assigned Club under the
Wyndham Vacation Ownership umbrella. This
includes, but is not limited to, posting of journal entries into the general
ledger, handling payables (including checks and wire transfers), bank
reconciliations, billing reconciliations, account analysis, audit schedules,
budget preparation and reporting, and statistical accumulation. Additionally,
this position monitors and analyzes fluctuations or changes from the budgets to
forecasts. This reporting helps the Operational leaders ensure the financial
health of the Clubs.


+ Prepare journal entries essential to building anaccurate general ledger

+ Reconcile all balance sheet accounts inaccordance with departmental policy

+ Prepare monthly reconciliations of corporaterelated party receivables and payables

+ Prepare monthly financial statements andreporting package

+ Prepare annual budget with assistance fromoperations

+ Prepare monthly reporting on variances to budgetand submit forecast changes based on monthly trends to budget

**Minimum Qualifications:**

**a)** **Education**

Bachelor's Degree in
Accounting from Accredited College or University

**b)** **Knowledgeand skills**

strategic, analytical and creative thinking aptitude in both an independent and
team environment.

understanding of GAAP accounting

be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, be well organized,
perform under stressful situations and communicative effectively.

**c)** **TechnicalSkills**

of Excel, Word, Outlook and Access

or other EPM software

**d)** **Jobexperience**

2years of experience working within a general ledger
and supporting month end close and reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
