eCommerce Business Development Manager

This job is home-based position, with possibly having an office at a U.S. Bank that houses Commercial Bankers.



Elavon is currently seeking eCommerce Business Development Managers who will be a part of the Global eCommerce Team. The eCommerce Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new revenue from eCommerce merchant opportunities with mid-market size businesses. We are seeking to filling these positions in any major metro area of the USA.






**Job Responsibilities**



This role is a combination of generated leads from US Bank Commercial Bankers in assigned market, non-bank partners, and self-generated leads. Some of your responsibilities will include:




+ Engage with product teams to help drive strategy

+ Build relationship with bankers, ISV's and other lead sources to drive leads

+ Own the full sales cycle from lead to close

+ Develop profitable new business account relationships

+ Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services;

+ Make sales presentations to existing and prospective clients;

+ Responding to RFP's




**Qualifications:**




**Basic Qualifications**




+ Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, relevant work experience

+ 5-7 years of sales experience in the Payments Industry and Financial Services Industry

+ Travel required (20%)



**Preferred Skills/Experience**




+ Passion for innovation, emerging technology

+ 3 years of sales experience in the Payments Industry and Financial Services Industry

+ Experience in a client facing role selling and/or supporting complex enterprise software, technical or financial services

+ Experience selling eCommerce solutions in the merchant card industry

+ Experience selling in the Mid-market or national space

+ History of exceeding quota

+ Strong negotiation and decision-making skills

+ Strong consultative sales skills

+ Creative deal closer

+ Ability to understand complex requirements and devise customized solutions

+ Ability to build strong pipeline with profitable opportunities

+ Solve complex needs and work across internal teams including risk, operations, product etc.

+ Relevant network is a plus

+ Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

+ Excellent marketing and business development/sales skills
